INSTALLATION

0) Get Linux (Me like Red Hat 8.0)
1) Install Linux
2) Boot Linux
3) Get Tarball (http://24.202.167.159:9995/ev.tar.gz)
4) Unzip to any folder (E.G /home/Jon/ev)
5) Edit the config.h so that it fits the dir that EV was put in and make folders that are talked about (read, logs, data, images and forums).
6) Edit config.h and map.c to taste (Set tick time, map size and family size)
7) Open a terminal and in the ev folder type "gcc map.c -s -o map -lm"
8] Type "./map" this will then show some numbers (and hopefully no error messages)
9) Type "make” (If there is a error anyway along the way it is most likely due to a mistypeing in config.h)

POST INSTALLATION

0) Open a termnal (Sometimes you have to be root, to achive this type "su" then the password
1) Get into the EV folder and type ./sv, hopefully it will show "awaiting connections on port 9990" (KEEP THE TERMNAL OPEN! THAT IS THE SERVER PROGRAM)
2) Find your IP address then put it into your browser and add ":9990" onto the end of it.
3) Login using a using the name "Maloeran" and a password of "password"
4) After logging in open /account (E.G instead of /main)
5) Edit account details to taste, don't forget to change the password
6) Create forums and start time in the Admin panel
7) Post your IP here so everyone can join
8] Give yourself a pat on the back, you have your own EV server using instructions from a 13 year old

GAMEPLAY

0) Don't abuse your mod/admin powers, its very tempting but... not a good thing.
1) Be careful who you mod, some people are better than others.
2) Don't forget to update every round.
